Facilities
Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center (GDE) was completed in March, 2002. Covering 330,000 square meters, it boasts five large exhibiting halls. As one of the largest exhibition centers in Asia, it can provide a 100,000 square meters exhibiting area and 5,500 standard booths. The two exhibiting centers are equipped with an advanced communication system, water and electricity system, security system, air conditioner system and guiding system. There are eleven multi-function conference rooms within the exhibition center. The largest conference room is capable of servicing 2,000 people.

Location and Transportation
GDE is located at Houjie Dongguan, which is in the center of the Pearl River Delta, allowing easy access and convenience. From Houjie, it takes only one hour by car to get many important cities, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, etc. Houjie is also close to the five airports in Guangzhou; Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau. Shenzhen Yantian Port and Shekou Port, Guangzhou Huangpu Port, Dongguan Humen Port also provide shipping within easy reach. It is only half an hour’s drive to the main station along the Beijing-Hong Kong Railway.

Houjie excels in hotel, catering, and entertainment. Within a 10-minute drive of the GDE are 5 five-star hotels. There are more than 10 three-star hotels in Houjie which can accommodate more than ten thousand people. Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center

Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center was completed in 2001. Covering 160,000 square meters, the center can provide 50,000 square meters exhibiting area and 1,200 standard booths. It possesses multi-function halls with the capacity of holding 500 people as well as negotiation district. The center is equipped with auto-monitoring system. The halls are well designed and featured in advanced equipment as well as logical management.

Location and Transportation
One can easily reach the center with the help of various transportation means like buses, railways etc. Taxis are always there which make you journey to the center fast and convenient.

The center is fully equipped with all types of telecommunication facilities like fax, Internet, telephone, etc. What is more, state-of-the-art facilities are provided as well like slide projector, video projector, LCD Projector, printing, etc.

Nearby Tourist Attractions
There are a lot of attractions for both exhibitors and visitors to relax and go sightseeing around the Center. The South China Mall is one of the best places to shop and have fun, for any age. The Ancient Fortified Wall is also a key place to visit as it has vast historical importance. It was built in the reign of Emperor Chongzhen and the bottom half was constructed with red stone. If you are curious about Chinese classic gardens, Keyuan Garden is a great example. It is one of the four famous gardens of the Qing Dynasty in Guangdong Province. Some of the other interesting tourist spots are The Great Ancestral Temple for Family Xie, Hu Ying Park, Humen Bridge, Ancestral Temple of Xie Yuqi, Zizheng Mansion etc. It is no wonder that Dongguan is becoming well-known for its hospitality to businesses across the world.
