IN THE MORNING
Destination: Humen, Dongguan
Marian War Museum: this museum shows the history of the China-Britain Marine Battle of the First Opium War. Weapons, battleship equipment, and battle documents are all located here.
Weiyuan Barbette Field: one of the largest and best-preserved ancient battlefields of China. Heritage here is filled with antique warfare arms, especially the magnificent barbettes and cannons spread across the field.
Humen Bridge: Just beside Weiyuan Barbette, the Humen Bridge stands proud, crossing the mouth of Pearl River and connecting Humen and Panyu. It is one of China’s greatest modern constructions.
IN THE AFTERNOON
Destination: Humen, Dongguan
Opium War Museum: featuring a comprehensive display of historical facts and artifacts from the Opium War.
Humen Square: a public square including important statues.
Humen Fashion Dress market: shopping at the biggest dress market in Humen. Whatever dress you wish at an extremely modest price.
